East Burnaby, a primarily suburban neighbourhood, is close to numerous options for easy access to many major routes, using Kingsway, Canada Way, Highway #1 and Lougheed Highway to get you where you want to go quickly! The neighbourhood has the 6th Ave commercial strip for a variety of ethnic restaurants, shops and services as well as close access to Edmonds and Highgate shopping centres. There are a few smaller parks in the area, Graham Park, Eastburn Park and George H. Leaf Park. Many of the residents here enjoy Robert Burnaby Park just to the north-west of the neighbourhood.
