TD Uptown Live – The Ultimate Street Party in New Westminster
One of Metro Vancouver’s most anticipated street festivals TD Uptown Live is returning to New Westminster this month and you don’t want to miss out.
TD Uptown Live, Presented by Douglas College, will liven up the city for one day only on Saturday, July 16.
TD Uptown Live 2022
The event will cover more than six city blocks in the Uptown business district of the city around Sixth Avenue and Sixth Street. There will be no shortage of fun things to see and do for all ages.
An impressive line-up of performers will take the stage, plus there will be a series of interactive exhibits, family-friendly activities, local artisans and delicious food trucks to explore.
A designated area will also be available where you can sip on a vast selection of craft beers, fine wines and other specialty beverages.
Here’s what you can expect.
Live Performances
TD Uptown Live is first and foremost a live music event. Catch performances on the Edgar Development Main Stage, the PC Urban Next Gen Stage, the Prospera Electronic Garden and the Royal City Centre Acoustic Lounge.
Organizers say the event has a reputation for showcasing the best emerging young artists in the province, so you never know who you might discover.

Artisan Vendors

Shop ’til you drop by checking out one of the over 50 vendors on-site. Booths will be showcasing all kinds of local, handmade products including art, jewelry, clothing, crafts and specialty food items.
Food Vendors
More than 30 food trucks will be whipping up treats both savoury and sweet. Dig into everything from grilled cheese, burgers and hot dogs to some more exotic dishes.

TGS Esports Gaming Zone
There’s a new activity zone this year and it’s all about gaming. Play your favourite games on a variety of consoles and enjoy a mini pop-up arcade, as well as other fun games where you can win some pretty awesome prizes. Visitors can even learn how to be an esports broadcaster.
Become A Rock Star
Feel like a rock star by checking out a Douglas College large-scale photo station complete with props and your own backup band. Props include real instruments, like guitars, a drum kit, a keyboard and more.
